PICTURES! First look at Bear Grylls' Mission Survive as celebs (try) to set up camp

Here's a first look at the opening episode of Bear Grylls' Mission Survive as the celebs are left in the Costa Rica jungle.

Eight celebs - Actors, and cousins, Emilia Fox and Laurence Fox, singer and actor Max George, double Olympic champion Dame Kelly Holmes, TV presenter and singer Jamelia, comedy actor Tom Rosenthal, DJ, Model and presenter Vogue Williams and former England International rugby player Mike Tindall - have joined up for the new ITV show.

Unlike I'm A Celeb where the stars arrive in a ready built camp, here it's back to the very basics as the stars must first create their own shelter, start a fire and find food.

But before all that, the group must make their way to the clearing by first dropping out of a helicopter into the middle of an algae covered lake, swimming to the bank and then trekking through the jungle.

There Bear greats the celebs with a cow’s heart and brain: They will also have to eat both to provide them with additional nutrients to supplement their army ration packs of food.

The contestants also have to start a fire and work out how to erect a tarpaulin to protect it from the driving monsoon rain before staying out for the night.

From here, every day they will move to a new location and set up camp as Bear sets them a number of tasks and trials.

Mission Survive begins on Friday night, February 20 at 9PM on ITV.
