The X Factor 2013 auditions continued today, as the latest round of open try outs took place in Birmingham.
After some 8,000 people queued up at London's ExCel last weekend, there were similar queues at Birmingham's International Convention Centre this morning.
Producers promised to see everyone who had turned up by 9AM for what will be the tenth series of the ITV show.
As well as all the wacky wannabes, host Dermot O'Leary was again on hand to see over the vast pens of people.
Speaking about this year's X Factor auditions, Dermot said: “It’s like the third round of the FA cup or the first game of the season. You’ve got a real sense of excitement.
“You meet people in all walks of life. There’s nothing as queer as folk and you never know who you’re going to meet.”
The open auditions continue in Cardiff, Manchester and Glasgow this month. Judges auditions will take place later over summer.
