Jahmene Douglas remains the favourite to win The X Factor 2012, following the last of the auditions.
Jahmene wowed the judges in the first audition show, and retains his favouritism and is already set to give Britain’s biggest bookmaker William Hill a £20,000 loss if he becomes champion.
The most popular act since the weekend’s final shows has been Jade Ellis who is now 10/1, from 14/1, to win the X Factor crown.
“Jade Ellis has been backed this week but Jahmene is still the benchmark for any of the other contestants to step to. He has been top of the pile from the early stages and is certainly the one to beat,” said William Hill spokesman Mark Young.
Meanwhile following Tammy Cartwright’s exit from the X Factor Boot Camp, bookmakers William Hill offer 5/1 that any of the contestants voluntarily leave the programme at any time during the live shows.
Hills also offer 10/1 that any contestant walks off stage during a live televised performance.
Other favourites include comeback girl Carolynne Poole, teenager Ella Henderson, boy group GMD3 and Last Night singer Lucy Spraggan.
