First Look at Michelle Keegan and Douglas Booth In New Crime Drama

ITV has dropped the first teaser trailer for The Blame, its new crime drama starring Michelle Keegan and Douglas Booth.

The series is coming to ITV and STV this autumn, with streaming available on ITVX and STV Player.

The Blame is set in the fictional town of Wakestead, where secrets, suspicion and corruption lie beneath the town’s unassuming surface.

Michelle and Douglas play detectives Emma Crane and Tom Radley, who are thrown into a murder case that quickly takes a turn for the unexpected.

The cast also includes Ian Hart as DCI Kenneth Walker, Nathan Mensah as DC Lewis, Nigel Boyle is digital forensic technician Brett Shergill, Joe Armstrong plays ice-skating coach Kyle Frasier, and Matilda Freeman is Sophie Madsen. Gavin Spokes, Josh Bolt, Ceallach Spellman are part of the Wakestead Police team as DC Joel Stevens, DC Douglas James, and PC Callum Drummond.

The Blame follows Emma and Tom as they investigate a murder, putting the spotlight on police procedures and trust.

As the case unfolds, the detectives find themselves up against a web of lies, cover-ups and moral dilemmas.
