ITV has dropped first-look images for Coldwater, a new six-part thriller starring Andrew Lincoln, Ewen Bremner, Indira Varma and Eve Myles.
Set in a quiet Scottish village, the series follows John (Lincoln), a stay-at-home dad battling with a midlife identity crisis.
After a violent incident pushes him to make a change, he moves his family far from London to Coldwater, hoping for a reset.
But things take a darker turn when he forms a strange and intense bond with his new neighbour Tommy (Bremner), a well-liked local who may not be as he seems.
As tensions rise and secrets come to light, John starts to question everything, including himself.
With a strong cast and production team behind shows like Chernobyl and Black Doves, Coldwater is shaping up to be one of ITV’s biggest dramas this autumn.
The series will air on ITV1 and ITVX later this year.
