Cooking With The Stars reveals line up for new series

Hosts Emma Willis and Tom Allen pose in a kitchen

Cooking With The Stars is firing up the hob once again as ITV confirms the line up for a fifth series this summer.

Emma Willis and Tom Allen are back at the helm, guiding eight brave celebrities through six weeks of high-pressure kitchen drama, all in partnership with M&S Food.

The show, which starts on ITV1 and ITVX from Sunday, 3 August, puts famous faces through their culinary paces, each mentored by a professional chef to transform their cooking skills from amateur to restaurant-ready.

The famous faces on this year’s line-up are:

  • Natalie Cassidy – actor
  • Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu – reality TV star
  • Hugh Dennis – actor and comedian
  • Kelly Hoppen – author and interiors expert
  • Jordan North – radio presenter
  • Jack Osbourne – media personality
  • Jessica Wright – reality TV star
  • Shaun Wright-Phillips – former footballer

Each episode sees the celebrities battle it out over the stove, but there’s a twist – the bottom two must face off in a blind-tasting eliminator, cooking solo as their mentors step aside.

Their dishes are then judged blindly by the professionals, meaning mentors could unknowingly send their own protégés packing.

Emma says she’s thrilled to return, promising “a mix of nerves, excitement, and a few inevitable kitchen catastrophes.”

Tom, ever the comic, warns us to expect “a delicious, slightly burnt and completely fabulous ride.”

ITV’s Katie Rawcliffe said the ongoing partnership with M&S remains “a recipe for success,” while M&S’s Sharry Cramond called it “ITV’s most popular cooking show,” adding that this year’s celebrity line-up will deliver “fiery flair and spicy star-studded showdowns.”

Expect chopping boards, culinary chaos and perhaps a few surprising success stories as the stars aim to claim the ultimate kitchen prize – the coveted Golden Frying Pan.

Cooking With The Stars series 5 starts on Sunday, 3 August on ITV.
