Claudia Winkleman is stepping further into the spotlight with her very own chat show, landing on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the spring of 2026.
This new series – simply titled The Claudia Winkleman Show – will see the BAFTA award-winning presenter hosting some of the biggest names from film, television, music and beyond, all from her signature sofa.
Claudia, best known for her high-profile roles on Strictly Come Dancing and The Traitors, is as surprised as anyone by her latest gig.
In her own words, “I can’t quite believe it and I’m incredibly grateful to the BBC for this amazing opportunity. I’m obviously going to be awful, that goes without saying, but I’m over the moon they’re letting me try.”
Backed by the team at So Television – the production company behind The Graham Norton Show – Claudia’s new venture promises lively conversation and guest appearances from global stars, with further details yet to be revealed.
Kalpna Patel-Knight, the BBC’s Head of Entertainment Commissioning, is full of praise for Claudia’s unique ability to make guests feel at home: “Claudia is a true national treasure – warm, witty and endlessly entertaining.
“She has an extraordinary ability to put people at ease and bring out the very best in them, whether they’re global superstars or members of the audience.”
Graham Stuart of So Television added: “Graham Norton has made the Friday night talk show slot a dazzling appointment to view. How can you possibly follow that? By booking a host equally as brilliant. So we have.”
Seven episodes have been commissioned so far, each running for 50 minutes.
Details about the guest list and what’s in store will be released closer to the air date.
