Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins is back with 14 stars swapping red carpets for rucksacks as they take on one of the UK’s toughest endurance challenges.

The new series starts on Channel 4 from 3 August as the latest recruits battle through the brutal first phase of SAS selection in the rugged Welsh landscape.

Famous faces from sport, music, and TV will face an unfiltered, high-pressure environment run by Chief Instructor Billy Billingham and his team of elite Directing Staff – Jason Fox, Rudy Reyes and Chris Oliver.

This year’s line-up includes:

  • Adebayo Akinfenwa (43) – Ex-footballer and broadcaster
  • Troy Deeney (35) – Former Premier League footballer
  • Conor Benn (27) – Professional boxer
  • Louie Spence (55) – TV personality and choreographer
  • Tasha Ghouri (25) – TV personality and model
  • Harry Clark (23) – Winner of The Traitors
  • Hannah Spearritt (43) – Singer and actress
  • Rebecca Loos (46) – TV personality and yoga teacher
  • Chloe Burrows (28) – Influencer and Love Island star
  • Bimini (31) – Drag artist and DJ
  • Michaella McCollum (30) – Author and public speaker
  • Lady Leshurr (36) – Musician and rapper
  • Lucy Spraggan (32) – Singer-songwriter
  • Adam Collard (28) – Love Islander and fitness influencer

There’s no glam or glitter on this course. All personal comforts, social media and celebrity privileges are stripped away. What’s left is a test of raw physical and psychological endurance.

Each recruit has a different reason for signing up.

Adebayo says he wants to prove he can step up to the elite standard. Troy Deeney is searching for self-growth. Conor Benn craves the challenge. Bimini wants to show a different kind of strength.

Harry Clark, inspired by relatives in the SAS, sees it as a chance to discover himself. Tasha Ghouri hopes to challenge perceptions of disability, while Lady Leshurr is using the course to “unpack trauma” and rediscover her strength.

The course is not for the faint-hearted. As Billy puts it, “Although many will start, very few will finish and even less will pass.”

Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins begins on Sunday, 3 August on Channel 4.
