Celebrity Big Brother’s twist revealed

Channel 5 confirmed in December Celebrity Big Brother 2018 will begin with an all female cast with male celebrities joining later. Show bosses have said that the women led series will help mark 100 years since women won the right to vote for the very first time.

They say that Celebrity Big Brother will initially explore how the all-female housemates interact, from politicians to performing artists, as they enter the house together.

When the male celebrities join, the housemates will take part in a series of “entertaining tasks and hidden experiments”.

In the first twist, only the women housemates will have the right to vote in the nominations.

The Celebrity Big Brother cast

Those making up the current all female line up are former MP Ann Widdecombe, Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Malika Haqq, Boris Johnson’s sister Rachel Johnson, Ex On The Beach star Jess Impiazzi and actress Amanda Barrie.

Joining them as it stands are Made In Chelsea’s Ashley James, newsreader India Willoughby and former Detective Constable Maggie Oliver, known for her work investigating the Rochdale grooming scandal.
