Auditions for Big Brother 2011 take another step forward next month, with open auditions being held up and down the country. Currently the open Big Brother 2011 auditions are scheduled for June 10 and 11 in Manchester and June 18 and 19 in the nation’s capital London.
The doors for the auditions open at 8.30am while the day finishes at 6pm. If you want to try out for Big Brother 2011, simply turn up on the day! You'll just need to be sure to have photo identification with you.
Other rules for potential auditionees include: The legal right to live in the UK or Ireland and to be aged 18 or over by July 31, 2011.
You do not need to have applied online to attend the open auditions and similarly you can attend the open auditions even if you have been unsuccessful in the online application.
Jeff Ford, C5′s Director of Programmes, explained: “It is a really exciting time for us as we scour the country to find the next generation of Big Brother housemates.
“It really couldn’t be easier to apply this year. All potential housemates need to do is turn up on the day to one of these two iconic venues and do everything they can to convince our casting panel they have what it takes.
“My message to anyone tempted to apply is go for it. In a few months’ time you might end up a resident in the most famous house in Britain.”
Meanwhile creative director Gavin Henderson added: “We are on the hunt for housemates that will make this an outrageously fun and unforgettable series of Big Brother. You know where to be and when – we’re coming to get you.”
