Stu (Brenton Thwaites) has been at the centre of a domestic abuse storyline after he attacked girlfriend Sasha Bezmel (Demi Harman) on a number of separate occasions including at the formal in scenes set to air on UK screens this week. Due to his troubled past, police are concerned that the bad boy’s death is not merely an accident but a murder and it looks like someone local is behind it. First to have the finger pointed at him is Sasha’s father Sid Walker (Robert Mammone) who previously beat Stu up after he discovered about his violence towards Sasha.
Speaking to TV Week, Robert said: ”The police visit Sid at his home and break the news, before taking him down to the station for questioning. No-one is sure yet about exactly what happened, but the police will do their job and investigate all the clues and potential suspects. Sid is prime suspect because of the bashing and because of the AVO that was taken out against him on Stu’s behalf. Also, at the time of the murder, Sid was at home on the farm by himself, which leaves him without any alibi.”
However, Mammone refused to be drawn on what happens next, coyly saying: ”Keep watching. The police investigation into how and what happened to Stu is very thorough, and you never know what they might find. There will be lots of questioning and several Summer Bay residents will become suspects.” The storyline will kick off on UK screens in Early March.
The residents of Summer Bay are set to be shocked to the core after a body is discovered in the coastal town and a murder investigation begins. The C5 soap will air a shocking murder mystery plot later this year when teenager Stu Henderson is found dead by show stalwart Alf Stewart (Ray Meagher). In a surprising new storyline, Stu’s body is discovered at the caravan park and soon a number of Summer Bay residents look set to have the finger pointed firmly in their direction.
