Nancy’s mum makes a surprise visit to Hollyoaks and drops a bombshell that sends Darren reeling. Neil soaks up the adulation from his friends but is secretly tortured by his lie – how long can he avoid getting behind the wheel? Meanwhile, Jono’s persistence pays off when Ruby gives him another chance, but will he admit their relationship to his friends? Elsewhere, Maddie is irked by Callum’s ever distant behaviour.
Tuesday 7th February
Margaret sets about breaking Nancy and Darren up but is her poison enough to make Nancy reassess her future in the village? Meanwhile, Rhys lifts Darren’s spirits on the stag night when Darren fears he’s made a monumental mistake whilst old feelings re-surface for Cindy. Elsewhere, Jono persuades Ruby to keep their relationship a secret whilst Cheryl ignores her responsibilities at the club leaving Brendan to pick up the slack.
Wednesday 8th February
As the wedding day looms, Darren is struggling to keep it a secret. Meanwhile, with Margaret’s words of encouragement ringing in her ears Cindy makes a move on Darren whilst Nancy’s suspicions escalate when she finds an incriminating piece of evidence in Darren’s pocket. Elsewhere, disaster strikes when, running out of excuses, Neil drives the sixth formers to a festival. Lynsey worries about her interview and seeks out Mercedes for reassurance whilst Cheryl has bitten of more than she can chew balancing her university course and Chez Chez.
Thursday 9th February
Reeling from the kiss, Darren desperately tries to find Cindy before she blows his secret whilst Nancy’s fears are confirmed when she catches Darren and Cindy in a compromising embrace. Elsewhere, Bart’s furious when Neil finally admits the truth about his driving test with devastating consequences. Cheryl is throwing herself into student life but letting her friends and family down in the process and Brendan helps Lynsey prepare for her interview.
Friday 10th February
Whilst Darren finally feels the wedding is coming together Nancy reveals her suspicions to Margaret who makes her an offer she may be unable to refuse. The sixth formers ignore Neil following yesterday’s crash but when he explains why he felt the need to impress them can they find it in their hearts to forgive him? Ruby ends her relationship with Jono when she discovers his true motivation for keeping it secret. Brendan leaves Cheryl with food for thought when he points out her failings.
