Kyle Canning's new dog Bossy is revealed to the world by 'Neighbours' bosses!

Neighbours chiefs have unveiled the new four-legged friend set to make its’ debut in Ramsay Street soon. 9-week-old Australian kelpie Bossy started filming for the Australian soap today as a new canine companion for handyman Kyle Canning (Chris Milligan). The show has had numerous dogs over the year including show icons Bouncer, who belonged to Joe Mangel and not long departed Audrey, owned by Karl and Susan Kennedy (Alan Fletcher and Jackie Woodburne).

And the dog has already made a big impression leaving cast and crew ”mesmerised with her screen presence’ as she filmed her first scenes for the show, which airs here on Channel 5. Talking about his new pal, Milligan joked: ”Yeah, I certainly feel like I’m playing second fiddle when she is in the scene. All eyes are on Bossy, I could be sitting there naked and I don’t think anyone would notice.”

A spokesperson for the show said: ”With the passing of Ramsay Street’s long-time resident pooch Audrey, the producers were keen to introduce a pup to the show. Milligan’s character Kyle Canning, a tradie, fitted the bill perfectly for a four-legged companion.”
