The body of a 25-year-old woman has been found at the home of former The Mirror reports that a 999 call was recieved after the 25-year-old was found not moving and was later pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased has yet to be revealed but the death is being treated as ‘unexplained’ and a postmortem is due to take place later this evening.
A spokesperson for the Merseyside Police said: ”Officers were called to the scene, at a house in Ampthill Road, Aigburth just after 11am yesterday. Paramedics attended and the woman was declared dead at the scene.”
Speaking to the Livepool Echo, a neighbour of 39-year-old Oruche said: ”The people in there haven’t been in that house for very long, just a few months I think. The woman who owns the house has a little boy and she always smiles and says hello.”
Oruche is best known for her roles in Footballer’s Wives, Buffy The Vampire Slayer and most recently as Gabby Sharpe in Hollyoaks for six months before her character was written out of the show last December.
