Britney Spears has reportedly agreed to a $15 million deal to judge The X Factor USA.
The signing, worth around £9.4 million, will see the popstar take a seat on the judging panel alongside L.A. Reid and Simon Cowell for the second series of the reality show.
The programme is currently in need of two new female judges after Simon axed both Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul after a lukewarm reception to the opening series last autumn.
The revamped show will also see a new presenting line up, with Simon after a male and female due to take over from Brit Steve Jones.
A spokesperson for X Factor refused to comments on any of the rumours.
Auditions for The X Factor USA are already underway and it’ll return to screens in the autumn. It airs here on ITV2.
