The X Factor 2012 is to get a new make up team, with Simon Cowell reportedly annoying in bosses by bringing his friend.
The music mogul has reportedly let the current chief make-up artist Natalya Nair go, replacing her with friend Julia Carta.
The pair been romantically linked, but Julia has denied any romantic relationship with Simon.
The appointment hasn’t gone down well with the show’s other producers however, reports the Daily Mail.
A source told the newspaper: “This is a case of Simon Cowell looking after his friends and not thinking about the wider consequences for the show.
“Natalya was a top-notch make-up artist and really proved herself last year.”
The source added: “She is very upset to be axed at the last minute — she thought she would be returning.
As part of a shake up into the show, the team’s make up department is also expected to be replaced for the live shows.
