This year’s X Factor bootcamp will be held in Liverpool on July 19, it has been revealed.
Audience website Applause Store has opened the opportunity for fans to grab tickets to the event, to be held later this month.
It was reported this morning that the show’s bootcamp would be moved outside of London for the first time, over problems arranging a venue during the middle of the Olympics.
“The Olympics has posed a huge problem for us this year,” a source told the Daily Star newspaper. “London has always been the choice venue for boot camp.
“But now we are having to re-think it, and fast.”
The source added: “It would be a nightmare to stage it during the Games so we’ll have to move.”
Around two hundred budding performers still remain in the contest after the last set of try outs in Cardiff last week.
They’ll be whittled down to just 32 at bootcamp, who will go on to the judges’ houses stage in September.
