X Factor 2012: Tulisa, Nicole clash over who sits next to Gary Barlow!

X Factor 2012 judges Tulisa and Nicole Scherzinger have reportedly clashed over which one of them gets to sit next to Gary Barlow on the panel.

For the auditions stage, Tulisa has been placed to the left next to Louis, while new judge Nicole has replaced Kelly Rowland next to ‘head judge’ Gary Barlow.

But insiders claim that Tulisa has been “begging” producers to swap her and Nicole around on the panel line up for the live shows in the autumn.

“Gary has become the Simon Cowell figure on the show and Tulisa ideally wants to be associated with him,” a supposed source told the Daily Star Sunday today.

The insider explained: “Last year Gary and Kelly Rowland teamed up against her and Louis Walsh. If there’s a divide this year she wants to be on Gary’s team.”

However, unfortunately for Tulisa, bosses have refused to move the panel line up because of Tulisa’s “chemistry” with Irish judge Louis Walsh.

The source added to the tabloid: “They loved the chemistry and banter she had with Louis so they have told her it’s just not going to happen.”

The X Factor 2012 airs this summer on ITV1.

Oh dear, I was hoping Nicole and Tulisa would get along this year , like Cheryl and Dannii did, but I honestly think Tulisa’s nose will be put out of joint this year, I do not think she will like having Nicole on the panel. I hope I am wrong and she will get on with Nicole, like Cheryl and Dannii get on, but I just cannot see it. Nicole is the new girl on the panel, how is Tulisa going to cope with that? All the attention going to Nicole?
Nicole will bring in the publicity, glamour and ratings, because she is the biggest name and person on the show and I doubt Tulisa will like this at all.
I think there may be a Sharon and Dannii enemy situation this year, rather than a Cheryl/Dannii friendly situation with Tulisa feeling threatened like Sharon was.
I think Tulisa is a good addition to the show though, because she was the only mentor who managed to get a girl group to win, so is probably the best mentor the show has had.
