X Factor champ Leona Lewis has denied reports that she’ll be performing at the Olympics opening ceremony.
It had been rumoured at the 27-year-old singer would be taking to the stage alongside Adele when the games kick off in London next month, but Leona denied any plans for a performance at the event.
Despite performing at the 2008 games in China, Leona told The People this weekend: “I wasn’t asked to do anything,”
Instead, the chart topping singer is hard at work on her new album Glassheart, which is set to finally be released this November.
One of the few X Factor acts still signed to Simon Cowell’s record label, Leona revealed: “He really likes it.
“I will probably be going on the X Factor to perform again this year which I always look forward to.”
