X Factor 2012 judge Louis Walsh has said that new panel member Nicole Scherzinger “lights up” the show.
Nicole joined Louis, Gary Barlow and Tulisa Contostavlos in Newcastle last Monday for her first day of auditions as the new judge.
ITV bosses confirmed the Pussycat Doll singer had joined the show earlier last week after months of speculation.
“She brings something different and she lights up the screen,” Louis told the Daily Mirror about Kelly Rowland’s replacement.
While his telly career is as stable as ever, Louis will be waving goodbye to his band Westlife as they bow out this weekend.
He said: “Will there be tears from me at the weekend? Yeah. I have never known a band like this and we have had an amazing time.
“I have never known a band like this and we have had an amazing time. I have never known a band and a manager get on as well as we do.”
