Alexandra Burke ‘wishes she never won The X Factor’

Alexandra Burke reportedly wishes she never took part in the X Factor, following a “sh***y 12 months”.

Alex won the competition in 2008, and went on to release a chart topping double platinum album.

But after splitting from Simon Cowell’s Syco record label last year, Alex is now struggling in the charts.

Her latest single only scraped into the Top 40 and stayed there for just one week, while her album has failed to sell more than 10,000 copies.

A source said: “All of a sudden, her career is going downhill. She’s working as hard as ever but it doesn’t seem to make any difference. She’s really struggling to come to terms with it.”

As well as the career problems, Alex has also been hitting the headlines after her footballer boyfriend was caught allegedly cheating on her.

Speaking to Reveal, the supposed insider went on: “Everything that could have gone wrong, did. In her her darker moments, she admits it’s been a ‘sh***y 12 months’”

The source added: “She almost wishes she hadn’t won the X Factor, because so many of her problems seem to stem from that”

I doubt this is completely true. Alex has always supported The X Factor and knows she wouldn’t be where she is today without it. Yes she is probably struggling after a shitty 12 months but only because of the disgusting treatment the UK give her. Mainly the UK media. Radio have blacklisted her and refuse to play her music. The general public seem to just hate her. Obviously there is no room for a confident black female in the UK music industry. Says something about our society, doesn’t it?

This is the UK. They wont allow confident black women ) She should of gone to America ( where strong black women are embraced ) from say dot. She did not,as she thinks – stupidly that she is british. She is not british. She, like all other blacks, are just from the former colonies with British passports, nothing more or less.

This is the sad life for black women in the UK / Europe. What makes it sad, is that african american black men like Will I am, The dream, JayZ, LA reid are coming over and grabbing all the white girls : Chery Cole, Cher Lloyd, Rita Ora, Tulisa, Jessie , pixie Lott
