New X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger has taken a swipe at Kelly Rowland, saying she’ll commit to her artists.
Kelly face criticism last year for dashing back and forth between the UK and US, eventually missing a week of live shows after getting sick Stateside.
But US singer Nicole, boyfriend to British F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, has revealed she’ll move to London for the show.
“The most important thing is that we commit our time to our contestants and we mentor them,” the Pussycat Doll singer told The Sun at yesterday’s Newcastle auditions.
She said: “I know that’s what I am going to do. I’m doing the show for the contestants and for the love of what I do.”
She added: “I’m looking forward to a long stay in the UK. It’ll be great, it’s like my second home.
“Every time I’ve been here in the past I have been crazy busy with work.
“But to have some downtime and live here, check out the restaurants and stuff, it’s exciting.”
The X Factor UK airs on ITV1 in August.
