X Factor 2012 guest judge Anastacia was left in tears at yesterday’s auditions by an emotional performance.
One young male singer dedicated his performance – a cover of Sarah McLaughlin’s In The Arms Of an Angel – to his gran.
The budding performer explained how his 90-year-old relative was currently battling breast cancer.
There wasn’t a dry eye in the audience as the youngster sung the track, with all the judges rather teary eyed as well.
Anastacia told him: “You made this whole audition very special.”
Auditions in Glasgow yesterday also saw the return of Jade Richards, who had a similar impact on the panel last year.
