X Factor judge Tulisa has denied any rivalry with guest judge Rita Ora.
Rita joined Tulisa, Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh on the panel earlier this year, joining auditions at London’s O2 Arena.
And show sources claimed that Tulisa felt threatened by the younger singer after she impressed producers.
“It started out friendly, but quickly turned sour – Rita’s a new artist, but she’s got more credibility than Tulisa, and has the backing of Jay-Z and Rihanna,” a source claimed to heat this week.
Another supposed insider told Star magazine: “Everyone was talking about Rita just like talking about Tulisa last year – she was left in the shade while contestants hung on to Rita’s every word.
“She spoke first, so Tulisa’s opinion often seemed like she was just repeating what he been said.”
But Tulisa took to Twitter to rubbish the rumours.
The ‘Young’ singer said that the claims were “b******s” and insisted that the pair got on “really well”.
She added: “They’ll find any excuse!”
It was claimed last week that Rita was top of the list of stars that producers wanted to join the show full time, after doubts were cast over Nicole Scherzinger’s schedule.
