Spice Girl Mel B is the latest X Factor guest judge at today’s auditions in Manchester.
The X Factor try outs kick off later this morning at the city’s EventCity arena, with three days worth of auditions.
Mel, a judge on the Australian version of the X Factor, will be joining Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Tulisa to judge the latest bunch of pudding performers to take to the stage.
“I’m so, so, so excited to be a guest judge for The X Factor in Manchester,” Mel said this week. “Being a Northern girl I believe there’s lots of amazing talent in the North of England. Go the Northerners and don’t let me down!
“I am coming to find the winner! I love my job as a judge on The X Factor Australia but it will be great to sit on the panel in the UK. Britain is & always will be my home and first love.”
Mel is the latest in a line of guest judges on this series, which have also included her former bandmate Geri Halliwell.
Former X Factor champ Leona, Lewis, breakthrough singer Rita Ora and US star Nicole Scherzinger have all also joined the panel so far.
