X Factor stars One Direction are being “worked like dogs”, with a huge amount of tour dates booked right through until 2013.
The group have 52 concert dates lined up before August, with the boys set to play a total of 171 dates this year alone.
According to the Daily Star, One Direction’s management have already added an impressive 25 dates to their first US tour due to extra demand.
And Harry, Zayn, Niall, Louis and Liam aren’t set to get any rest for at least a year, with 94 confirmed gigs in 2013 already.
Andy Greene, associate editor of America’s Rolling Stone magazine, told the Daily Star Sunday today: “I’ve never known a band announce a second summer tour before a first summer tour is over. It’s insane – they’re working them like dogs and printing money right now.”
One Direction are already working on their second studio album, due out later this year, and also have promo deals with numerous companies.
One thing is for sure, the boys are certainly going to be set for life by the time they’re 25.
