X Factor judge Gary Barlow has said he’s planning to relax more on the show this year.
The Take That singers returns to the series today as auditions kick off in Liverpool.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror about the start of the new run, Gary admitted he found last year’s show “intense”, and planned to take it as it comes this summer!
“You have just sort of got to go ‘f*** it’ and let your shoulders down and go, ‘Hang on a minute, I am in control here, I can take as long as I like’. You have to have that attitude,” Gary explained.
Gary, who will be on the panel alongside guest judge Geri Halliwell today, went on: “I have got a year under my belt and I feel relaxed and excited.
“We start in Liverpool. I know Geri Halliwell and I think she will make a good guest judge and we could be seeing more of her on the show.”
He added: “I am looking forward to discovering some new talent – and finding a star.”
The X Factor 2012 auditions continue in London at the O2 Arena next week.
