Spice Girl Mel B is set to guest judge on The X Factor 2012 when auditions hit Manchester, it has been reported.
The singer is already a full time judge on the Australian version of The X Factor, and will join the UK version next month.
Auditions in Manchester take place at the city’s EventCity conference centre from June 5 to June 7, with Gary Barlow, Tulisa and Louis Walsh.
Mel’s former Spice Girl bandmate Geri Halliwell opened this year’s auditions, guest judging in Liverpool.
Other names set to appear at the audition shows are tipped to include Alicia Keys, Gwen Stefani and Katy Perry.
Former X Factor winner Leona Lewis has also been linked to a role, along with current chart topper Rita Ora.
It’s expected a permanent fourth judge will be revealed for the bootcamp stages going forward.
