Reggie Yates reckons Cheryl Cole’s performance on The Voice UK this weekend will wind up Simon Cowell.
Speaking to heat magazine, Voice co-host Reggie however downplayed any rivalry between The X Factor and his show.
Cheryl, who used to judge on the ITV1 series, will be singing her new single Call My Name on The Voice results this Saturday night.
“I think a lot of people want there to be this battle between us and Simon so much,” Reggie said when quizzed about Cheryl’s upcoming performance.
He added: “It will wind him up. But do I care about that? It’s just, whatever. I just think it’s wicked that Cheryl’s going to perform on our show.
“I think if she comes on and does well, it will be fantastic.”
Kylie Minogue will also be performing on The Voice UK results this Sunday night, as the four finalists are chosen by the public.
