Geri Halliwell has been confirmed as the guest judge for The X Factor 2012 auditions in Liverpool this week.
Try outs at the city kick off on Wednesday at the city’s Echo Arena, with the former Spice Girl joining the panel.
She’ll be joined by permanent judges Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Tulisa.
Geri will no doubt be hoping for a better reception than when she guest judges the show back in 2010, where she was booed by the crowds in Glasgow for being harsh to the acts.
“I’m incredibly excited and proud to join The X Factor in Liverpool and have the opportunity to find a new star,” Geri said in a statement today. “Those four seats are the hottest seats in Britain right now!
“I hope to share all my experience and the ups and the downs of how to make it globally in the music industry with the contestants and I’m really looking forward to having a blast with Gary, Tulisa and the lovely Louis”
