The X Factor 2012 auditions kick off in Liverpool tomorrow, and today the show’s judges and presenters kicked off the tour as they travelled to the city.
It’s only the second year that try outs have been held in Liverpool, but after the success of Rebecca Ferguson, Marcus Collins and Craig Colton in recent years, it’s no surprise they’re back.
Gary Barlow teased: “It’s time ….. To face …… The music !!! In car heading north for the big X launch in Liverpool !!! #excited”
The Take That star will be joined on the panel this year by Louis Walsh and Tulisa, who was experiencing an earthquake in Bulgaria earlier this week!
Let’s hope she manages to catch her flight back…
The trio will be joined by a range of guest judges, starting with former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell.
Sources have claimed that if Geri impresses, she’ll bag a permanent job the panel at the end of the auditions, replacing Kelly Rowland.
Meanwhile Dermot O’Leary will be back fronting the main show, while Olly Murs and Caroline Flack will be hosting ITV2 spin-off the Xtra Factor.
“Its time to face the music!!!!” Caroline teased, adding: “En route to liverpool!!! Fun on the radio and pastie in hand… Living the dream :)”
Auditions are being held at the Echo Arena tomorrow.
