One Direction have firmly put to bed rumours that some of them *COUGH*Harry Styles&COUGH* are planning to go solo.
Speaking on New Zealand media, the boys insisted they’d never split up, because they couldn’t hack making it as solo artists!
Of course, we’re not entirely sure they’re telling the whole truth, as they did audition for The X Factor as solo artists way back in 2010.
But the group’s Louis Tomlinson insisted: “This would be such a different story if we were solo artists.
“I don’t know if me personally if I’d be able to hack it if I was a solo artist – it’s a lot of time away from home.”
Speaking to Radio New Zealand, the singer added: “But to have the other guys there with you is really nice and makes everything so much more fun.”
So that’s that all cleared up!
