Dannii Minogue has rubbished rumours that she’s returning to The X Factor, saying that she’s “not leaving” Australia.
The former X Factor judge revealed she didn’t “get” the rumours about her return over here in the British press.
“Returning to a show I left years ago? I don’t really get that,” Dannii said.
The Aussie star, who quit the show in 2011 for Australia’s Got Talent, went on: “There’s a big rumour and speculation but I’m all about Melbourne now and AGT.”
She added: “I’m not leaving.”
It was reported this week that while Dannii was wanted by producers to return, schedule clashes with Australia’s Got Talent ruled her out of making a comeback.
US star Katy Perry is now one of the favourites to replace Kelly Rowland, who quit the show last month.
Auditions for The X Factor 2012 begin filming in Liverpool on May 23.
