Katy Perry is hopeful for a role on The X Factor UK, her popstar pal Justin Bieber has claimed.
Canadian singer Justin revealed this week how he and Katy have talked about the show, and explained that the US star would love to move to the UK.
It follows the news that X Factor boss Simon Cowell is looking for a “superstar” to replace Kelly Rowland, who quit the show this year after just one series.
Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday this week, Justin said: “I have spoken with Katy about her time on The X Factor in the UK and she said it was the most fun she had ever had.”
He added: “She told me she would love to live in London at some point, so working on The X Factor would be like two ambitions coming true.”
Katy previously guest judged on the show in 2010, replacing a then-pregnant Dannii Minogue alongside Cheryl Cole.
The ‘Part Of Me’ hitmaker is currently at 3/1 to replace Kelly, while former judge Dannii Minogue is the favourite to join up, making a comeback on the series.
