X Factor judge Tulisa revealed how she land her job on the show thanks to a T-shirt!
The N-Dubz star joined The X Factor UK last year replacing Cheryl Cole, and explained this week how she won boss Simon Cowell over.
“I was really cheeky. I got him a T-shirt – made sure it was a white V-neck – and I printed a picture of his face on the front that said ‘The Male Boss’ underneath,” Tulisa laughed.
She continued: “And I said ‘as the female boss only I can knight you with this title. So here you go, got you a little present.’ Thought I’d be a little cheeky to get in there!”
And apparently that’s all it takes to win Simon over!
Tulisa added: “It worked, he gave me the job on the spot so happy days!”
And it seems as though Simon has loved Tulisa’s impact on the show, even ‘promoting’ her to head judge this year.
Following digs from gary Barlow to Louis Walsh, Simons stepped in to clear matters up on Twitter last night.
He tweeted: “I understand Louis & Gary are squabbling as to who is head judge..since @OfficialTulisa won last year, she is the reigning head judge”
