X Factor judge Tulisa is set to score a number one single this Sunday, having topped the midweek charts.
The N-Dubz star is currently number one based on sales with her debut solo single Young, having knocked off Canadian Carly Rae Jepsen.
But Tulisa revealed this week that her number one single, written and produced by ex-boyfriend Fazer, wasn’t originally meant for her!
“It was one of those ones I heard in the studio, and I was like, ‘I have to have this song’,” she told BBC Radio 2 this week. “It was meant for someone else, I’m not going to say who it was meant for, who they pictured it for, but I nicked it!
“They didn’t even get a chance to pitch it to the [other singer]. It wasn’t even finished and I was like, ‘I’m having that song, give it to me!’.”
Tulisa will perform the track on the Britain’s Got Talent 2012 live shows on Saturday.
