As the only officially confirmed judge on The X Factor 2012 so far, we reckon that Gary Barlow knows exactly what’s going on behind the scenes.
So when we noticed that he started following Dannii Minogue today (yes, we DID really notice that), it led us to wildly speculate.
We can only conclude that this is proof that Dannii will be back on The X Factor.
Okay, it’s not proof at all, but we couldn’t come up with another explanation.
Gary is seemingly incredibly picky with who he follows. Despite an army of fans, he is only interested in 48 people, 49 now with Dannii. And he wasn’t even following her until this afternoon, despite having been pals and filmed an advert together. Clearly something triggered him to hit the follow button.
Writing on his Twitter page earlier this week, Gary admitted that he’d miss Kelly Rowland on the show after she announced she had quit.
He wrote: “Sorry to hear @KELLYROWLAND won’t be joining us on #XFactor this year.Good luck with all your plans.Was great working with you.”
Dannii is currently the odds on favourite to be announced as the new (but not actually new) X Factor judge later this month.
But let’s hope they get a move on, because auditions start in less than three weeks in Liverpool!
