Simon Cowell is reportedly thinking about moving Alesha Dixon to The X Factor from Britain’s Got Talent.
The former Strictly judge joined BGT in January, but now Simon wants her to replace Kelly Rowland on The X Factor this summer.
Alesha had originally been lined up to join The X Factor last year, but commitments with her role on Strictly blocked any move.
Instead, the former Mis-Teeq star joined Got Talent after Strictly finished in December.
Now Simon wants Alesha back on The X Factor, following news that Kelly is ‘unlikely” to return.
So far only Gary Barlow has been officially announced as a judge, while both Tulisa and Louis Walsh have both revealed they’re also set to return in interviews.
“There is no doubt she is very interested in The X Factor,” a source told the Daily Star today.
They added: “No matter how big Britain’s Got Talent is, The X Factor is even bigger.”
X Factor boss Simon Cowell last night teased there would be some “exciting and interesting” news about the show soon.
He wrote on Twitter: “I have some very exciting (and interesting!) @TheXFactor UK & @TheXFactorUSA news coming to you very soon…”
