Former X Factor finalist Frankie Cocozza has been left “absolutely devastated” after his best friend was murdered.
The Daily Mirror reports that three schoolboys have been arrested over the death, following a fight last night that left Frankie’s pal Connor Saunders dead.
The 19-year-old suffered “serious head injuries” in a street brawl on Saturday in Frankie’s hometown of Brighton.
“Frankie is absolutely devastated,” his dad said
Detective Chief Inspector Nick May of Sussex Police said: “At the moment we believe an altercation has taken place between two groups. Members of each group are known to each other and during the incident the 19-year-old victim has been punched to the head, causing him to fall to the floor.”
Frankie cancelled a gig in Scotland over the weekend and flew back to Brighton this morning.
