Simon Cowell has reportedly spent £150,000 on a DNA genome sequencing test in order to reveal when he’s likely to die.
How very morbid for a Monday morning.
On the plus side, the test results predicted that Simon will be around for many years to come.
“My test said I am going to live until I’m 92,” he told the Daily Mail this week. “My tests were some of the best they had ever seen. No stress. I am a great believer that many illnesses come through stress.
“It was the result I wanted. I have no stress or little stress, even in this business. I sleep well. I am very peaceful, not agitated.”
And the music mogul admitted he took the test because he fears growing older and getting ill.
He said: “(I’m) petrified of it. In 10 years, I have only missed two days of filming.”
