Florence + The Machine may have performed on stages to millions across the world, but has revealed that singing on The X Factor last year has her toughest gig yet.
Speaking to the Daily Star today, Florence said her performance on the ITV1 series last year was “one of the most high-pressured things I’ve ever done”.
The flame-haired songstress explained: “Just before it went live one of the dancers’ dresses got ripped and the stylist had to run on stage as they were counting down to the start.
“I had to stay really still and it was one of the most high-pressured things I’ve ever done. I was freaking out inside – it was so frightening.
“We all talked about how much could go wrong – I’m surprised more doesn’t happen with live TV performances.”
And the Brit nominee also confessed to being a big fan of the show, adding: “I was really excited to meet Tulisa – I think she’s amazing.”
