X Factor star Kitty Brucknell has revealed she has been invited to the Oscars next year… but will have to snub the awards show for a tour date in Manchester.
Wacky Kitty, who left the show in style back in November, said: “I can’t wait for the tour, I am so excited about it.”
And she revealed: “Rather randomly, I was invited to the Oscars this year, but I can’t go because it is on one of the tour dates.”
Despite the 32-date tour playing some of the UK’s biggest venues, Kitty added she was most looking forward to singing in her home town of Cheltenham.
She said: “I would love to do a show at the Centaur. I really want to perform in the Town Hall, but it is too big. But that is what I have wanted to do for some time.
“It would be really special and I don’t think an X Factor contestant has done a gig in the town before.”
