X Factor 2010 runner up Rebecca Ferguson is outselling the show’s winner by Matt Cardle, we can reveal. Figures from the Official Charts show that Rebecca has shifted almost 350,000 copies of her album in just three weeks.
The mum-of-two released her debut solo record Heaven at the beginning of the month, performing a track from the LP on The X Factor live results shows.
By contrast, Matt Cardle has so far failed to move even 250,000 copies of his debut, despite having an almost two-month head start on Rebecca.
Matt released Letters, which features tracks penned by X Factor judge Gary Barlow, back in October.
And in worse news for the former X Factor winner, his latest single Starlight only scrapped into the official charts at number 185.
It’s a huge tumble for Matt, who was top of the charts with his winner’s single When We Collide this time last year.
