Applications for The X Factor 2012 are now open – and you have until February to send off your details! As always with Britain’s biggest musical talent search, any type of singer can apply – regardless of whether you think you could be the next Cheryl Cole, Katy Perry, Eminem or even Susan Boyle!
Applications can be made online via the Freemantle media website, the closing date for applications is 10th February 2012, those received after that date will unfortunately not be considered. The age limit this year remains at 16, you must be 16 by the closing date. Those aged between 16 and 18 will also need the permission of their parents or legal guardians.
Call-backs for the auditions will start in late spring, with those who make it successfully through the pre-audition stages being invited to audition for the judges in front of a live audience in the summer.
