Lucy Spraggan wowed the judges on The X Factor 2012 tonight, with her cover of Gold Digger
Lucy spoke in an emotional VT before her performance about losing her grandmother earlier in the week.
The 20-year-old performed a unique cover of Kayne West’s Gold Digger for the panel, with her own rap in the middle of the track.
And of course, Lucy was attached to her guitar throughout.
Nicole Scherzinger said: “I was afraid but you swagged it out and you made it your own.”
Louis Walsh said: “You a trooper to get up there with a confident performance that was”
Gary Barlow said: “Well done, you made the people close to you proud. I was a bit worried when I heard you were doing a cover version, but I really enjoyed that.”
Tulisa said: “Lucy, you could’ve done a sad slow song but you didn’t, you made people smile and you did. You could have milked the sympathy voe.”
