X Factor 2012 star Kye Sones has revealed he hasn’t washed his cheek since kissing Cheryl Cole at judges’ houses!
Kye will be seen performing for Cheryl and Gary Barlow for a spot in the live shows this weekend.
Recalling finding out Cheryl was Gary’s helper for the day, Kye said: “I was thinking who is it? We thought it was Simon Cowell, because one of the girls was convinced it was him, I had no idea. I was thinking people like Annie Lennox and then out walks Cheryl.
“I think I was stood there with my mouth open for about 10 minutes.”
Speaking to heat magazine, Kye continued: “Everyone was like, ‘Woah’, everyone was just really, really shocked and everyone went forward to give her a hug and I just stood there just staring at her in disbelief. She’s the most beautiful girl you’ve ever seen. She’s a knockout.”
He added: “I went and gave her a kiss and I haven’t washed my cheek since. There was a little bit of lipstick on it, so I thought, ‘I’ve got to keep that’.”
It seems that Cheryl proved quite the distraction for Kye, who admitted: “We had to go and get ourselves together. I was still getting over Cheryl.
“The Gary thing was wicked, I loved it, then I had to get over the Cheryl thing. Then we had to go and sing in front of them, which was amazing.
The X Factor 2012 judges’ houses air this weekend on Saturday and Sunday on ITV1.
