X Factor bootcamp: Amy Mottram, Melanie McCabe, Jade Ellis, Leanne Robinson impress

Amy Mottram (X Factor 2012)

Amy Mottram, Melanie McCabe, Jade Ellis and Leanne Robinson all impressed The X Factor 2012 judges on tonight’s bootcamp.

Before the first performances started, Tulisa said: “I’m just looking for people that took the initiative to fight for the part of the song that brings out the best in their vocals.”

For the first challenge, the acts were grouped with other acts in their category to perform.

First to perform was Tasha Lee, Amy Mottram and Maisie Berry, singing Stronger by Kelly Clarkson

Tasha and Maisie were both sent home but Amy was put through.

Next up saw plenty of talented girls performing Aretha Franklin’s RESPECT.

Amongst those to get yeses through to the next round were Melanie McCabe, who was back for her second attempt at the show after missing out last year.

Jade Ellis and youngster Jade Collins also both got yeses, bring them all one step closer to judges’ houses and s pot in the live shows later this autumn.

Amy who? watch the fireworks with this one – unacttractive, dumpy and from Essex. Won’t win and will try win favours with the judges.
There are far much better singers so ‘Amy’ needs to quiten down, reminds me of Misha B. Look what happened there.

I have always wandered why it is that young beautiful talented minority artists like Leanne Robinson are not receiving more spotlight in this xfactor show. I love black folk but too often what I’ve noticed is that they get treated like crap! And its just because of their ethnicity. In all honesty, I think a few rich black artists should pool together and make their own xfactor rival show for young black artists. Leanne is obviously a great contender this year but she is being hidden by xfactor. Well not even hidden obscured really! Nothing is being put out there about her by xfactor and for me all respect has gone out the door for this “show.”
