The Voice UK winner Leanne Mitchell has reportedly been giving a helping hand by Lord Andrew Lloyd-Webber.
Despite slagging off the show earlier this week, Lord Webber has employed his son to help with Leanne’s debut album.
The singer failed to chart in the Top 40 with her winner’s single, so no doubt plenty of effort will be put into the first record out later in the year.
The Sun reports that Lord Webber’s son Alistair will be working with Leanne at Island Records, who she has been signed to after winning the show.
“Alistair has a great ear for music and is well versed in the business,” a source told the newspaper.
The supposed insider added: “The label have big plans for Leanne but need to make sure they get her album right.”
Let’s hope he can improve on that #45 position of her debut single!
