Leanne Mitchell has won The Voice UK 2012, beating the competition in tonight’s tense final.
Bo Bruce, Tyler James, Vince Kidd and Leanne Mitchell went head to head in this evening’s last live show.
Vince Kidd was announced in fourth place earlier, leaving the remaining three to battle it out for a career-changing record contract.
After all the votes were counted and verified, Leanne Mitchell came out on top!
Speaking to host Holly afterwards, Leanne said: “Oh my god! Thank you! I’m starting to believe in myself”
Sir Tom added: “You deserve it! It gives me confidence that there is justice in this world.”
It was a shock win as Leanne went into the final as the underdog, expected to finish in fourth place.
But after pulling out some spectacularly big performances, Leanne ended the show the odds-on favourite, and went on to beat Bo Bruce and Tyler James in the final showdown.
An emotional Leanne was left speechless after the result was announced, before being given a huge group hug from all of the show’s live finalists.
