With The Voice UK final fast approaching (it’s TONIGHT!), we went backstage at the show’s studios yesterday to get all the latest gossip!
Not only did we get the chance to chat to the finalists including Tyler James, who was given advice by Cheryl Cole, but we also caught up with show coaches Danny O’Donoghue and Will.i.am.
The pair seemed upbeat for the final, with Will describing it as the last day of school.
Danny meanwhile said that the competition tonight was wide open.
“After last week with Ruth Brown and Jaz Ellington leaving, I think it’s blown the whole competition wide open,” he said.
We also got the chance to take a sneak peek at some of this evening’s performances.
The final four will all perform at least two songs; a solo number and a duet with their coach.
One will then be eliminated as the final three go on to perform their potential winner’s song.
As well as that, there’s performances from the coaches, Maroon 5 and Ed Sheeran.
The coaches will be performing a medley mash up of their tracks, starting with Jessie J’s take on Sir Tom Jones’ It’s Not Unusual. They then move into The Script’s Breakeven and Jessie’s Price Tag, before finishing with Will and Where Is The Love?.
Maroon 5 will also be performing a mashup, starting with new single Payphone before belting out megahit Moves Like Jagger.
Vince Kidd meanwhile revealed Ed Sheeran had already given him support before the show. Vince said: “He tweeted me a week before I came on The Voice and said he really liked some music I had put online.
“It’s cool that he is here – I have never met him before but I want to.”
We also caught a sexy glimpse of saucy Holly Willoughby in dress rehearsals, and it seems that the blonde beauty is going all out for the final.
The busty babe was squeezing herself into a black leather basque, blaming the hot weather for the skimpy outfit.
It’s sure to be a final you won’t want to miss!
